CUSTOM WOOD BATS
AVAILABLE 
Custom wood bats have
become an increasingly popular training tool for baseball. Custom
wood bats made to your specifications used to be reserved only for
the pros, but they are now available to LSHS Cougar baseball
players. While not required by LSHS baseball, they are acknowledged
as a nice extra training tool if you care to afford them.
There are a couple of
local wood bat companies currently offering LSHS baseball players
the opportunity to have custom made bats for use as training tools
for batting practice. These companies will custom make a bat to your
specifications and also personalize it by nicely engraving it with
your name, number and team name.
These bats can be purchased at any time from the reps listed below.
MAX BAT
Max Bat has custom wood bats starting at $70 with quantity
discounts available. Over 500 professional baseball players use Max
Bats. The company also provides batting gloves ($20 for expo only)
as well as their new line of fielding gloves. They have a line
similar to Rawlings. Their Heart of the Hide comparable glove
is $159 and the Pro Preferred comparable model is $199.

Rally maple
bats are $40 each for the tightest grain woods possible. Rally will let you choose any style from any well known wood bat
manufacturer (Louisville Slugger, Easton, DeMarini, etc.) and will make
you a custom wood replica for a lot less money. All you have to do
is provide the bat manufacturer and the specific bat model number
you want made. Engraved name and team name included. Your engraved personal
signature can be added for $5.00.
