COUGAR FRESHMEN-A POUND KENNEDY 18-2

The Freshmen-A Cougars were on the road again as they traveled to Bloomington to take on Kennedy.

The Cougars started out red hot, batting through their entire line-up and scorching Kennedy for seven runs in the 1st inning.

The inning started with Joe Hodson reaching first base on a walk. Two batters later Mike Huntoon hit the ball over the left fielders head for a homerun.  

Joe Hodson, Matt Benge and Lee Frandrup each scored three times.  

All players had at least one hit in the game.  

Hunter Ruth pitched well and gave up one run on 4 hits and struck out 4 batters.

Next game is at Burnsville.

The freshmen Cougars are now 3-4 on the season.
