COUGAR FRESHMAN DOWN EP EAGLES

The third time was a charm as the South Cougars were on the road for a third game in a row, traveling to Eden Prairie for a 5-3 win.

Hunter Ruth got the win scattering 4 hits in 4 innings giving up 3 runs. 

Nick Continenza finished the game striking out 4 batters in the last 3 innings. 

Ben Hansen and Collin Poe each had two hits in the win.  Poe had two rbi’s.

The Cougars are now 1-2 on the season and play Bloomington Jefferson next.
