COUGAR FRESHMAN DROP CLOSE GAME TO AV EAGLES

The Cougars were on the road again as they traveled to Apple Valley for their second game of the year. In a very close contest, Apple Valley scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 6^th to win 6-5 over the South freshmen. 

Peter Schneeman pitched a good game giving up 3 runs on 4 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Joe Hodson ...... 2 for 3,

Nick Continenza ...... 2 for 3

Mike Huntoon ......2 for 4 

Coach Kirk Golberg thought the team showed some brights spots occasionally on defense. Joe Hodson in particular made some very good plays at 2^nd base.

The Cougars are 0-2 on the season. Their next game is at Eden Prairie.
