Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Mike Remington was
raised in Eden Prairie where he played baseball and basketball.
Coach Remington attended
Carleton College where he also played baseball and basketball. He
attained his B.A. there in 1997. He later received his M.A. from the
University of St. Thomas in 2005.
Coach Remington has been
coaching baseball now for five years. He spent the first year at
Jefferson and the last four here in Lakeville. He was the Lakeville
freshman A-team coach in 2005.
Mike also coaches
basketball for Lakeville South.
Coach Remington still
plays summer baseball with the Northfield Knights class B amateur
town team.
Mike is married to wife
Jaime. They have two children. Son Connor and daughter
Emma Mae.
Coach Remington is looking
forward to the 2007 season and the challenges of helping take the
varsity program to the next level.
